In 1933, Hitler came to power. Making it his mission to destroy every Jew he could. This is one of the first acts of mass genocide that our world has seen but it isn’t the last. During WWII the United States didn’t decide to help until December of 1941. And before we could blink, the war was over. The United States has been living in a fantasy. We haven’t seen what is going on around us. While most of us get food everyday, clothes on our backs, and a safe place to live; kids in Africa are suffering and hiding from people like Joseph Kony. This malicious man has spent over 20 years abducting children from their own homes and handing them a gun, forcing them to fight. to kill. to destroy. This is the type of thing privileged people like you and me need to stop. No, one person can’t do it by themselves. But imagine if every young adult in the United States tries to help. WE can stop this. because we have to deal with people like this mans actions. WE will bring children into this world… is THIS the kind of lifestyle you would want for future generations? Joseph Kony has abducted over 30,000 children from Uganda. He forced the boys to fight and the girls to become sex slaves. If we don’t stop this, then it will only get worse. If the United States government doesn’t see support from US citizens then they will take all the troops in Africa out and the African soldiers that are looking for Kony will fail. Kony will get away with what he is doing and it will only get worse. No one can really foresee what is going to happen but this isn’t something i’d take a risk on. The mission is to make Kony famous.
